Situated on the first floor of 96 Shenley Road, the Services for Young People Borehamwood Access Point is open to young people who live in and around the Hertsmere district. At the Borehamwood Access Point young people can access a wide range of services. We help young people progress into education, training or to find a job or apprenticeship. We also offer confidential one-to-one support with issues such as mental health, relationships, personal safety, benefits and finances, housing and homelessness, drug and alcohol use. Young people can also access sexual health services here, including free condoms and free chlamydia testing.

The Fusion at 96 Project is a Services for Young People project for young adults aged 18-24 with moderate learning disabilities and takes place at 96 Shenley Road in Borehamwood. Come along on Monday evenings from 7pm to 9pm. You'll get to spend time with other young adults who live in the area in a safe and relaxing environment. The project is run by professionally trained and supportive youth workers from Services for Young People's Hertsmere Team. You'll also get the chance to develop new interests and learn new life skills.

Shine is a Services for Young People youth project at Potters Bar Young People's Centre for young people aged 13-17 with learning disabilities and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It takes place on Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. You'll get to spend time with other young people in a safe and relaxing environment. The project is run by professionally trained and supportive youth workers from Services for Young People's Hertsmere Team. You'll also get the chance to develop new interests, participate in fun activities and learn new life skills.

The 'Speak Up Hertsmere' Youth Council is a group of young people who meet to discuss, debate and take action on issues affecting young people in the Hertsmere area. A youth council is somewhere that young people can raise issues and get their views heard by the people who can make a difference.
