The Services for Young People Wheathampstead Young People's Project is open to all 12-17-year olds on Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 9pm. It's free so come along and take part in some of our exciting activities.
Based at the Memorial Hall in Wheathampstead, the Services for Young People Wheathampstead Young People's Project gives you the opportunity to get involved with various activities such as sports, arts and multimedia in a safe space whilst making friends and building confidence.
You will have the opportunity to develop your independent living skills through sessions on cooking, budgeting and how to live a healthy lifestyle. We also use the local football court to play sports and learn about the importance of maintaining good health and wellbeing through physical activity.
At the project, you can also recieve support on issues that may be affecting your life, including relationships, sexual health, drug and alcohol use and personal safety.
The Wheathampstead Memorial Hall is fully wheelchair accessible.
