The Services for Young People Watford Youth Project for Young People with Learning Disabilities is for young people aged 13-17 with learning disabilities and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The Services for Young People Watford Youth Project for Young People with Learning Disabilities takes place on Wednesday afternoons from 4pm to 6pm at Watford Young People's Centre.
You'll get to spend time with other young people in a safe and relaxing environment. The project is run by professionally trained and supportive youth workers from Services for Young People's Watford Team. You'll also get the chance to develop new interests, participate in fun activities and learn new life skills.
You can have a go at lots of activities including:
- table tennis
- arts & crafts
- local trips out
- beauty sessions
- board games
The staff at this project have specific training to work with young people on the autistic spectrum and/or with epilepsy. They are trained in epilepsy awareness and Epi Pen trained.
Watford Young People's Centre is fully wheelchair accessible.
