This Services for Young People’s The Care Experienced project is for care experienced young people who live in the St Albans district. Come along and use our state-of-the-art training kitchen at Harpenden Young People's Centre and learn important skills that will help you to live more independently and healthily as well as build your confidence.
The Care Experienced Project is for care experienced young people in the St Albans district.
Friendly and supportive Services for Young People youth workers will help you gain valuable life-skills through interactive and engaging activities.
The Care Experienced Project is an accredited programme that consists of seven modules:
- cooking skills
- managing your money
- relationships
- healthy living
- emotional wellbeing
- keeping safe
- DIY skills
When you've completed a subject area you will receive a City & Guilds qualification, which will enhance your CV.
All Services for Young People youth work projects and programmes enable young people to learn new skills, increase their knowledge and develop confidence, self-esteem and resilience.
Harpenden Young People's Centre is fully wheelchair accessible.
