The Care Experienced Young People's Hub at Bowes Lyon Young People's Centre is a relaxed environment where care experienced young people can meet with their support worker and access help from a Services for Young People Adviser or Youth Worker.
At the Care Experienced Young People's Hub at Bowes Lyon Young People's Centre, young people can access one-to-one support with issues such as:
- Mental and physical health
- Relationships
- Personal safety
- Benefits and finances
- Housing and homlessness
- Drug and alcohol
Sexual health services and advice, including:
- free condoms
- free pregnancy testing
- free chlamydia and gonorrheoa testing
Young people can explore career opportunities, job search, create or update a CV, prepare for an interview, explore opportunities for employment, apprenticeships, or apply for college and training.
The Hub can help you to gain valuable life skills, help you to live more independently and healthily as well as build your confidence.
