The Services for Young People Stand Up BAME Project at Watford Young People’s Centre is for young people aged 14-17 with Black African, Caribbean or mixed heritage.
The Stand Up BAME Project aims to support young people aged 14-17 with Black African, Caribbean or mixed heritage.
The project provides a safe space where black and mixed heritage young people can discuss issues that concern them. Have your voice heard on subjects such as diversity, inequality in the socio-economic structure as well as in education and criminal justice. You will have the opportunity to come up with ideas and solutions.
The project endeavours to give the you the skills and knowledge to make informed decisions as you transition into adulthood.
The Watford Young People's Centre is fully wheelchair accessible.
