The Services for Young People North Herts Sunshine Project is for young people aged 13-17 with mild to moderate learning difficulties and/or learning disabilities and is based at Hitchin Young People's Centre on Wednesday evenings.
The Services for Young People North Herts Sunshine Project is for young people aged 13-17 with mild to moderate learning difficulties and/or learning disabilities and is based at Hitchin Young People's Centre on Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
Come and join us, have some fun and make new friends!
There is a wide range of activities for you to get involved with, all designed specifically for young people with particular needs and support.
Activities include:
- sports and games
- arts and crafts
- drama
- music
- topical discussion groups
- advice on relationships and sexual health
Qualified youth workers will also support you with:
- relationships
- confidence and resilience
- staying safe
- emotional wellbeing
- healthy lifestyles
- food,nutrition and cooking
- managing money and budgeting
Hitchin Young People's Centre is fully wheelchair accessible.
