New Horizons is a project for asylum seekers and refugee young people, aged 18-24, in Watford and surrounding areas. Join us every Thursday (term time only) 12 - 2pm at Watford Young People's Centre.
New Horizons Project is for asylum seekers and refugee young people (ages 18-24) in the Watford area. Come and develop your skills, increase your independence, explore your future and take part in fun activities.
Every Thursday 12-2pm, term time only.
The group is run by friendly Services for Young People advisers and youth workers, offering support on a range of topics, life skills and interactive activities.
We will offer advice and guidance on:
- Health and wellbeing
- Managing money
- CVs, jobs and education
- Cooking and independent living skills
All Services for Young People youth work projects and programmes enable young people to learn new skills, increase their knowledge and develop confidence, self-esteem and resilience.
Watford Young People's Centre is fully wheelchair accessible.
