The Services for Young People Move it! Health Project for young people with learning disabilities is all about making small changes to make a big difference! Become more active, learn to cook exciting and healthy meals - and have fun!
Services for Young People Move it! Health Project for young people with learning disabilities is an exciting project which will encourage you to lead a more healthy lifestyle through sport and healthy eating.
Expect multi-sports by external instructors and learning to cook healthy and easy meals!
Each weekly 2-hour session includes an hour of a fun and engaging physical activity in addition to discussions about:
- the effects of physical activity on health
- what you can do to build regular exercise habits into your daily life
- the impact of a healthy diet
- setting goals to continue the development of a healthy lifestyle
The Watford Young People's Centre is fully wheelchair accessible.
