'Inspired' is a Services for Young People project for young people aged 13-17 with mild to moderate learning difficulties and/or learning disabilities. It takes place on Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 8pm.
At the Services for Young People Inspired Project for Young People with mild to moderate learning difficulties and/or learning disabilities, you can have a go at lots of activities including:
- table tennis
- arts & crafts
- local trips out
- cooking
- beauty sessions
- board games
- badminton
... and much more.
You'll get to spend time with other young people in a safe and relaxing environment. You'll also get the chance to develop new interests, participate in fun activities and learn new life skills.
Qualified youth workers will also support you with:
- relationships
- confidence and resilience
- staying safe
- emotional wellbeing
- healthy lifestyles
- food, nutrition and cooking
- managing money and budgeting
Potters Bar Young People's Centre is fully wheelchair accessible.
The staff at this project have specific training to work with young people on the autistic spectrum. There is also wheelchair accessible computer.
