The Services for Young People Friday Night Project at Harpenden Young People's Centre is open to all young people aged 13-17. Harpenden Young People's Centre is a safe space for you to meet new people, develop positive relationships and try out new activities. You can also take part in workshops which develop your skills and confidence, have new experiences and find out about opportunities for young people in your area. Come along and get involved!
Based above Harpenden Library on the High Street, the Harpenden Young People's Centre provides a space for a wide range of activities and opportunities. Come along and learn new skills in music, photography, art, cooking, or you can just socialise in the modern, welcoming young people's centre.
The Harpenden Young People's Centre is also equipped with a dance studio, a computer area and a state-of-the-art training kitchen.
All the activities are designed by and for young people and include sports, arts, cookery and multimedia activities.
You can also get information on a number of issues that may be affecting your life, including sexual health, relationships, drug and alcohol misuse, and personal safety. This project has a focus on making positive choices and moving away from risky behaviour.
The Harpenden Young People's Centre is fully wheelchair accessible. We also have facilities for people with disabilities including a lift and accessible toilet facilities.
