Creative Spark is a project for young people with mild to moderate learning difficulties and or/ learning disabilities. Run by Services for Young People, the project enables young people to build communication skills, resilience and independent living skills through a variety of activities.
At the Creative Spark Project at the Hemel Hempstead Young People’s Centre you can get involved with sessions which focus on healthy relationships, sexual health, resilience, independent living skills and coping with tough situations.
Activities include:
- sports and games
- arts and crafts
- music
- topical discussion groups
Qualified youth workers will also support you with:
- relationships
- confidence and resilience
- staying safe
- emotional wellbeing
- healthy lifestyles
- food, nutrition and cooking
- managing money and budgeting
...and much more.
The Hemel Hempstead Young People's Centre is fully wheelchair accessible.
