The Services for Young People Cottonmill Friday Night Project is open to all young people aged 12-17. The Cottonmill Community Centre is a safe space for you to meet new people, develop positive relationships and try out new activities. You can also take part in workshops which develop your skills and confidence, have new experiences and find out about opportunities for young people in your area. Come along and get involved!
Based at the Cottonmill Community Centre this project provides a space for a wide range of activities and opportunities. Come along and learn new skills in music, photography, art, cooking, or you can just socialise in the modern, welcoming centre.
All the activities are designed by and for young people and include:
- sports
- arts
- cookery
- multimedia activities
You can also get information on a number of issues that may be affecting your life, including sexual health, relationships, drug and alcohol misuse, and personal safety. This project has a focus on making positive choices and moving away from risky behaviour.
The Cottonmill Community Centre is fully wheelchair accessible.
