Services for Young People Hemel Hempstead Care Experienced Young People's Hub is a monthly drop-in session for care experienced young people.
At the Hemel Hempstead Care Experienced Young People's Hub, our friendly and supportive youth workers and advisers are there to help you learn valuable life skills through fun and interactive activities.
These activities will support you to live more independently as well as helping to build your confidence.
Young people can access one-to-one support with issues such as:
- Mental and physical health
- Relationships
- Personal safety
- Benefits and finances
- Housing and homelessness
- Drug and alcohol use
Sexual health services and advice, including:
- free condoms
- free pregnancy testing
- free chlamydia and gonorrheoa testing
At the Care Leavers Hub, you can also get support applying for college, creating a CV, looking for employment, apprenticeships or training opportunities.
Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided.
Support for care experienced young people
Hemel Hempstead Young People's Centre is fully wheeelchair accessible.
