The Services for Young People Care Experienced Young People's Hub at Cheshunt Young People's Centre is a relaxed environment where care experienced young people can meet with their support worker and access help from a Services for Young People Adviser or Youth Worker.
The Care Experienced Young People's Hub at Cheshunt Young People's Centre is a monthly drop in for care experienced young people.
The Hub can help you to gain valuable life skills, help you to live more independently and healthily as well as build your confidence.
Young people can access one-to-one support with issues such as:
- Mental and physical health
- Relationships
- Personal safety
- Benefits and finances
- Housing and homelessness
- Drug and alcohol use
Sexual health services and advice, including:
- free condoms
- free pregnancy testing
- free chlamydia and gonorrheoa testing
Enjoy a warm drink and something to eat. Explore career opportunities and get support with finding a job, apprenticeships or applying for college. We can help you in creating or update your CV and preparing for an interview.
You can take part in activities that develop confidence, support independent living, explore relationships and sexual health, emotional and mental wellbeing.
