What do we do?
We meet to address issues that affect us and other young people in the area. We then share ideas, opinions, solutions and aspirations with local decision makers, advocating on behalf of other young people. We also plan and deliver social action projects in the local community to help others.
What are our priorities?
- Promoting the work we do and opportunities for young people in Bishop's Stortford
- Establishing a Youth Strategy Group where young people can meet with organisations which work with young people and shape the services they deliver.
What have we achieved?
We have recently delivered a fun day for young people attending CHIPS, a holiday scheme for young people with additional needs in Hertfordshire, and introduced them to the services and support available in Bishop’s Stortford.
We are very welcoming of new members who would like to come along and help create a better Bishop’s Stortford for all young people.
